Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Digital Content Producer role based in Ahmedabad. The Digital Content Producer will plan, create, and publish engaging digital stories across web and social platforms, ensuring content aligns with the brand voice and audience interests.
Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating content calendars, writing and packaging articles, producing and supervising short-form video pieces, and collaborating with reporters, designers, and video creators.
The role also involves managing digital assets in content management systems, optimizing content for reach and engagement, and monitoring performance metrics to guide future content strategy.
The Digital Content Producer will stay informed about local news, trends, and social media best practices to keep content fresh and relevant.
Qualifications
- Strong content production skills, including planning, drafting, and publishing digital stories.
- Experience with video production, such as scripting, supervising shoots, and coordinating edits for digital platforms.
- Ability to develop and execute content strategy that aligns with audience needs and brand objectives.
- Excellent writing skills for news, features, and social media, with attention to tone and accuracy.
- Proficiency in content management tools and workflows for organizing and updating digital assets.
- Understanding of digital and social media trends, analytics, and audience engagement techniques.
- Strong editorial judgment, fact-checking skills, and commitment to ethical, non-discriminatory storytelling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced newsroom environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and meet tight deadlines.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in journalism, mass communication, media studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in digital news, online media, or city-focused publications is an advantage.
- Excellent command over English.
