Data Service Technician

Job title: Data Service Technician / Field Technician
Location: Seattle WA, (Most work will be within a 2 to 4 hour radius of Seattle, WA )
Duration: Contract to Hire (After 720 working hours, will be eligible to go fulltime with my client)
Hourly pay rate: Targeted pay rate is between $35 to $45 per hour. Will go higher depending on candidates experience level, licenses, etc. 

Manager Notes:

• Company truck in assigned after 2-4 weeks after they start, My client will fly them to Lowell Arkansas, and then candidate will drive back in company vehicle 
• PAID MILES (.72 CENTS) + DRIVE TIME (HOURLY RATE) - 30 minutes/30 Miles until assigned truck.
• Paid Drive Time in Company Vehicle after 30 minutes (Hourly rate) 
• Contract to Hire (720 Hours)
• EL06 Licensed REQUIRED 
• For the service tech in Seattle, needs to know Corning Unicam fiber terminations, POTS lines/dial tone tracking, good with cameras and CCTV installs, access control preferred but not required. Able to travel 2-4 hours around Seattle for work, weekends, nights and OT comfort levels also.

• Cabling & Infrastructure: Running low-voltage cable, terminating, testing, and dressing Cat5e/Cat6A and fiber optic cables.  
• Network Deployment: Installing MDF/IDF closets, rack-mounting network switches, and managing CCTV, POS equipment, and wireless access points
• Data Cable Technician with CAT5e, fiber optic, and network experience.
• Industry-specific certifications (BICSI, Systimax, Panduit, Beldon, Corning) are a huge plus.
• Flexible and willing to work on-call, early morning, day, night, and weekend shifts depending on the requirements of the job.
• Excellent customer relationship and communication skills; verbal and written.
• Knowledgeable in identifying independent colors and learning color codes.
• Must have knowledge of cabling infrastructure.
• Experience in conduit installation is a plus.
