Technical Support Tech I / Data Center / Fairless Hills, PA

We are hiring Data Center Field Installation Technicians to support large-scale data center deployments. This is a hands-on role responsible for installing servers, network equipment, and structured cabling while ensuring all work is completed safely and according to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Build and prepare equipment racks, including rails, PDUs, cable management, and labeling.
• Rack and stack servers, storage, and network equipment.
• Install and route copper and fiber structured cabling.
• Connect A/B power feeds and assist with airflow and cooling installations.
• Follow installation drawings, procedures, and quality standards.
• Perform basic quality checks and report installation issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of data center environments or IT hardware.
• Experience with structured cabling, rack and stack, or low-voltage installations preferred.
• Ability to read and follow installation documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Able to lift equipment, work in rack spaces, and stand for extended periods.
• Commitment to following all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Preferred Experience

• Copper and fiber cabling.
• Data center, telecommunications, or low-voltage installation experience.
• Familiarity with rack infrastructure, power distribution, or cooling systems is a plus.
