Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive technical quality, scalability, security, and reliability across applications and integrations
• Lead engineering excellence through mentoring, code reviews, and best practice development
• Partner with Product, Architecture, and Business stakeholders to design and deliver impactful solutions
• Champion modern engineering practices including CI/CD, automation, testing, and observability
• Enhance and evolve event driven, cloud native platforms and distributed systems
• Take a lead role in production support, incident management, and continuous improvement activities

Qualifications and Experience

• Strong hands on experience with C# and .NET (Core / .NET5+)
• Deep expertise building ASP.NETCore APIs and distributed systems
• Proven experience designing and implementing microservices architectures
• Strong experience with event driven systems
• Advanced experience with NoSQL databases, including CosmosDB or MongoDB
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices, including OAuth, JWT, authentication, authorisation, and identity management
• Experience leveraging AI and automation technologies to improve engineering productivity, operational efficiency, or customer outcomes
• Cloud, DevOps & Platforms experience: recent work with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault, API Management)
• Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using AzureDevOps
• Experience implementing infrastructure and deployment automation within cloud environments
• Previous exposure to multi cloud environments such as AWS and/or GCP
