About our client
Our client is a fast-growing European investment firm specialising in sale-and-leaseback transactions, acquiring mission-critical corporate real estate and leasing it back to businesses under long-term agreements. Operating at the intersection of private equity, private credit and real estate, the firm invests across consumer and retail, industrial and social infrastructure sectors. What the job involves
As an associate, you will play an important role in evaluating and executing investment opportunities, working closely with senior team members across the full transaction lifecycle. The role offers broad exposure to deal execution, direct engagement with business owners and senior stakeholders, and the opportunity to develop within a lean, entrepreneurial and internationally minded team.

  • Supporting the evaluation and execution of investment opportunities, from initial analysis through to closing
  • Building financial models and conducting valuation, business and investment return analysis
  • Coordinating due diligence workstreams and liaising with external advisors throughout live transactions
  • Preparing investment committee materials, financial analysis and transaction documentation
  • Conducting company, sector and market research to support investment decisions and direct origination
  • Supporting portfolio monitoring and analysing the performance of existing investments
  • Working closely with senior investment professionals and contributing to a collaborative, hands-on team environment
Who we are looking for
  • Relevant experience in M&A, investment banking or private equity, with meaningful exposure to live transactions
  • Strong financial modelling skills and a solid understanding of financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
  • Excellent analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to take ownership of workstreams and manage competing priorities
  • Strong commercial judgement, intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn new sectors
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to thrive in a flat, international team environment
