Job Description

6 month, full remote contract (possibility of contract-to-hire)

Position Summary

The UKG Business Analyst will support the implementation and ongoing support of the organization’s UKG Time and Attendance system, with a targeted go-live date of November 1. This is a highly project-oriented role that will work closely with the project team and user community to support implementation activities, documentation, issue resolution, and post-go-live support.

The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis and customer service skills, be comfortable working in a fast-paced implementation environment, and bring a collaborative, team-oriented approach. Previous UKG or Time and Attendance experience is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and November 1 go-live of the UKG Time and Attendance system.
  • Participate in project meetings, working sessions, testing activities, and implementation-related initiatives.
  • Serve as a liaison between the project team, technical resources, and end-user community to understand needs and resolve issues.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, business processes, workflows, requirements, and support materials.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve help desk tickets and end-user issues related to UKG and Time and Attendance workflows.
  • Assist with testing, issue tracking, validation, and readiness activities leading up to go-live.
  • Provide hands-on support to users during implementation and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Communicate project updates, issues, risks, and resolutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and the overall user experience.
  • Provide responsive, service-oriented support while working collaboratively with the broader project and IT teams.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Business Analyst, Application Analyst, or related IT experience.
  • Experience supporting enterprise application implementations, upgrades, or other technology projects.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving application or help desk tickets.
  • Strong documentation, requirements gathering, and process analysis skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with end users, project teams, and technical stakeholders.
  • UKG, workforce management, Time and Attendance, or similar application experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience supporting testing and go-live activities is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Team-oriented with a positive, service-focused attitude, willingness to receive feedback, and a "can-do" approach to supporting users and the project team.
