Application Developer (.Net)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications.
• Build and support web-based and cloud-based applications.
• Develop, integrate, and maintain REST APIs and web services.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and application functionality.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, and development teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, API, and system integration issues.
• Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, and application architecture discussions.
• Develop and maintain UI functionality using modern front-end technologies.
• Monitor application performance and implement optimization and tuning improvements.
• Develop database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, and stored procedures.
• Perform database optimization and support application data integration.
• Use Azure DevOps for Agile project management, source control, development workflows, and CI/CD activities.
• Manage application source code using Git.
• Support automation and continuous improvement of software development processes.
• Evaluate the feasibility of application enhancements and proposed system modifications.
• Research and implement new technologies as required.
• Follow software development, security, testing, documentation, and coding standards.

Required Experience

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.

Education

One of the following is required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field; OR
• 2–4 years of professional application development experience; OR
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Application Developer / Software Developer with experience across .NET, ASP.NET, REST APIs, React, Angular, Node.js, Azure, and SQL Server. Candidates should understand modern application development, API integration, source control, Agile methodologies, and cloud-based development.
