Human Resources Specialist to support leave administration, benefits, HR operations, and compliance initiatives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities
Administer employee leaves of absence from intake through return-to-work, including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, and other state and local leave programs
Serve as a resource for employees by answering HR, leave, and benefits-related questions
Support benefits administration, including enrollments, qualifying life events, reporting, audits, and employee inquiries
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Maintain accurate employee records and HR data within HRIS systems
Support employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, status changes, and offboarding
Partner with internal teams to improve processes, efficiency, and employee experience
Assist with HR reporting, audits, and special projects
Manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
3+ years of Human Resources experience
Experience administering FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA, and other leave programs
Benefits administration experience, including employee support and reporting
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
Experience working with HRIS platforms; UKG experience is highly preferred
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Staffing industry experience is a plus
This job will pay a range of $75,000 - $80,000 annually.
