Job Description

Network Administrator | Scott Air Force Base, IL | On-site | $92,300.00 - $166,850.00 We're hiring on behalf of a leading technology solutions provider that partners with government and commercial clients to deliver innovative digital and mission-critical services. This organization is recognized for its commitment to technological advancement and its large, global workforce dedicated to tackling complex challenges. The Role • Provide engineering and technical expertise on telecommunications networks and information systems within the Defense Information Systems Network (DISN). • Research, analyze, and develop recommendations for network systems engineering, topology planning, and migration strategies. • Collaborate with government engineers, leadership, and project managers to ensure successful transition of new capabilities into operational environments. • Serve as a Technical Lead supporting engineering implementation, installation, testing, and integration activities across multiple network environments. • Evaluate system network requirements and make appropriate technical recommendations. • Monitor network performance and provide support for project deployments. What You'll Need • Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of related experience, or equivalent. • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required. • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) is mandatory. • Experience supporting telecommunications or transport networks including IP networking, MPLS, SONET, TDM, and DWDM. • Experience supporting network integration, testing, or deployment activities, including remote configuration and troubleshooting. • Ability to interpret network topology diagrams and engineering documentation.
