Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Database Administrators to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:

1. Develop, review, and optimize database queries across application environments, ensuring queries are accurate, efficient, and aligned with application requirements and database performance standards.
2. Monitor and analyze database performance, identify query or system-level bottlenecks, and troubleshoot production performance issues to maintain reliable and responsive database operations.
3. Support production fixes and database changes by reviewing proposed solutions, validating their impact, assisting with implementation, and confirming that changes resolve identified issues without introducing additional problems.
4. Provide production database support and incident resolution by investigating technical issues, debugging database-related problems, coordinating with application and technical teams, and supporting the continued availability and stability of database environments.

Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education	Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience	Expert-level experience in database administration, SQL development, query tuning, performance analysis, and production database support.
Technical Skills	Oracle Database Administration, SQL, Query Tuning, Database Performance Analysis, SQL Developer, Database Troubleshooting, Production Support, Database Testing
Business / Domain Skills	Experience supporting database operations across multiple application environments. Experience troubleshooting production database performance issues and validating production fixes. Experience supporting database queries and performance analysis for enterprise applications.
Communication	Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation	Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization	Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.
