MES Acceleration Leader (Manufacturing / SAP)

job summary:

We are seeking an experienced MES Acceleration Leader to provide functional leadership across enterprise Manufacturing Execution System workstreams. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business, SAP, and engineering teams to drive execution, manage system dependencies, and ensure seamless integration with legacy systems.

responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate MES acceleration priorities, workstream roadmaps, and project status across cross-functional groups.
• Partner with executive leadership to resolve technical blockers and track critical system dependencies.
• Apply functional expertise regarding manufacturing routings, work orders, and shop floor production processes.
• Facilitate functional requirements for system integrations connecting MES, SAP, and legacy architectures.

qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

5+ years of experience leading functional MES initiatives within manufacturing environments.

Hands-on experience with production routings, work orders, and shop-floor execution workflows.

Strong working knowledge of SAP systems and enterprise integration interfaces.

Availability to work a 4-day, 10-hour/day schedule (Monday-Thursday, Eastern Time).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Functional expertise across SAP PP/MM modules.

Deep domain experience in discrete or enterprise-scale manufacturing.

Proven track record leading multi-workstream technical programs.
