PMP - Healthcare Project Manager - Only Local - Harrisburg, PA (Hybrid)

Job: Healthcare Project Manager

Location: Harrisburg, PA( Hybrid)

Must be local to PA

The Project Manager is a 'senior' level resource with specialized knowledge and experience in EHRs, health informatics, and health IT. The PM will have proven experience leading large-scale projects to successful implementation and experience with planning around organizational change management (OCM).

REQUIREMENTS:

· The successful candidate will have experience with the implementation of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system where the customer was employing a paper-based charting system.

· Experience with organizational change management (OCM) with independent customers is preferred.

· Experience with EHR and/or EMR, health informatics, and health IT.

· Manage the implementation of a new EHR system, and transition from system implementation to program operations and maintenance

· Lead, plan, execute, and monitor all project activities for EHR implementation including project planning and execution, and governance.

· Accountable for delivery of all work tasks identified in the Project Management Plan and Project Schedule.

· 'Active' PMP Certification from Project Management Institute (PMI) for at least '5' years.

· Manage technical initiatives with a complement of project team members throughout the various IT areas, technical complexity, and vendor involvment.

Nice to have:

· Familiarity and experience with programs and issues related to public health

· Experience with organizational change management (OCM) with independent customers.
