The Opportunity

This is an outstanding opportunity to lead one of Australia's most significant information management transformation initiatives.

You'll play a crucial role in helping federal government agencies modernise their records management capabilities by migrating from OpenText Content Manager (TRIM) to Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online.

Working alongside senior stakeholders, architects and a project manager, you'll influence migration strategy, design enterprise solutions and deliver high-profile programs that improve governance, compliance and operational efficiency.

The Role

As the Senior Consultant, you'll lead data migration and end-to-end enterprise migration activities across discovery, solution architecture, migration planning, execution and operational transition.

You'll combine technical leadership with strong consulting capability, partnering with business and technical stakeholders to design practical migration strategies while ensuring records integrity, governance and compliance are maintained throughout every stage of delivery.

The Ideal Person

You will have experience in:

• Leading discovery workshops with business, technical and records management stakeholders
• Assessing existing OpenText Content Manager (TRIM) environments and migration readiness
• Designing enterprise migration solutions across Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online and Microsoft Purview
• Developing metadata mapping frameworks, transformation rules and governance models
• Lead migration delivery using ShareGate, PowerShell and Content Manager DataPort
• Overseeing validation, reconciliation and preservation of records, metadata and version history
• Producing governance documentation, audit artefacts and operational runbooks
• Mentoring project teams and support knowledge transfer, operational readiness and post migration hypercare

Salary / Rate

• $135/hr - $160/hr including Super or $150k - $200k + Super
