Mainframe CICS System Administrator 
Location: Chandler, AZ; Plano, TX; Charlotte, NC; and Jersey City, NJ from Day 1 (Client prefer local folks)
Hybrid Schedule: 3 Onsite Days (Tue, Wed, Thur) & 2 Remote Days (Mon, Fri)
Duration: 6+ months, extendable
Interview: 2 Rounds mostly virtual
Job Description:
Responsible for administering, maintaining, upgrading, and tuning CICS Transaction Server environments across production, test, and disaster-recovery regions.

Mandatory requirements include:
Hands-on CICS Transaction Server administration on IBM z/OS
CICS installation, upgrades, PTF application, and maintenance
Configuration and support of CICS regions
Knowledge of DFHSIT and CICS system initialization parameters
Performance monitoring and troubleshooting
Ability to analyze transaction response time, CPU utilization, and storage usage
Willingness to work onsite three days per week

Preferred experience:
Experience supporting production, test, and DR CICS environments
Experience with OMEGAMON, MainView, or TMON
CICS performance tuning and bottleneck elimination
