Overview
BigBear.ai is seeking a Technical Intelligence (TECHINT) Analyst to collaborate with an US Intelligence Community customer, as well as scientific and academic partners, to assess ongoing and new technology developments and analytical production pertaining to TECHINT capabilities. This position will be based out of Washington, DC and offers no remote flexibility.
What you will do
- Ingest, process, evaluate, and analyze complex TECHINT data across various specialized collection modalities.
- Author high-impact intelligence assessments, signature reports, exploitation workflows, and specialized technical databases.
- Support the development, optimization, and evaluation of technical collection systems, including:
- Seismic and acoustic sensing
- Infrasound monitoring Very Low Frequency (VLF) and Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) electromagnetic phenomena
- Assist customer initiatives to evaluate, vet, and validate existing and emerging technical programs, methodologies, and technologies.
- Partner closely with IC analysts, scientific researchers, and external stakeholders to deliver integrated technical assessments.
What you need to have
- Bachelor's degree in intelligence analysis, computer science, engineering, or a related field
- At least 8 years of experience developing, processing, and evaluating TECHINT data to provide assessments and intelligence products on existing and emerging capabilities (or 12 years of experience in lieu of a college degree)
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- Ability to analyze, report, and develop recommendations and assessments on data related to technical data sources
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Experience with the DoW and/or the IC
What we'd like you to have
- Experience in IC domains including all-source intelligence, planning, operations, or targeting
- Ability to work a non-standard or shift schedule
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Current CI polygraph
- Master's degree in Intelligence Analysis or a related field
