Role Summary
This technical support position entails providing comprehensive hardware and software troubleshooting, installation, and upgrades for Windows 10 systems. The role involves supporting network infrastructure, managing communication technologies, and assisting with mobile device deployment within a field environment. This opportunity is suitable for experienced IT professionals comfortable working in on-site settings, with a focus on network installation and technical support in West Texas.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware and software troubleshooting, including installations and upgrades for Windows 10 systems.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft Office applications and other desktop software.
• Provide network support, including LAN/WAN configuration, cable installation (Cat5, Cat6, Fiber), and network communications troubleshooting.
• Rack and stack network equipment and hardware in technical environments.
• Maintain and support communication technologies such as Cisco, Aruba, and Ubiquiti radios.
• Support mobile device enrollment, application deployment, and updates on iOS platforms.
• Manage Active Directory user and computer objects and implement Group Policy basics.
• Document technical processes, incident reports, and solutions in service management systems.
• Utilize rental vehicles for daily travel within West Texas, including overnight stays as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding technical issues and solutions.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in field technical support, network installation, and troubleshooting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information.
• Proficient in Windows 10, Microsoft Office, and software troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated hardware installation and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience with LAN/WAN technologies, cable installation, and network communications.
• Knowledge of Cisco, Aruba, and Ubiquiti radio technologies is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SCCM/Intune, Citrix, and Active Directory is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate rental vehicles.
• Ability to travel daily within West Texas and work on-site in Midland, TX.
• Must be available for flexible scheduling, including overnight stays as required.

Publishing Pay Range: $30.00 - $40.00 hourly

This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
