  • Provide guidance, support, and training to end users, promoting effective use of systems and adherence to organisational standards and policies.
  • Define, plan, coordinate, and deliver projects and system enhancements to agreed scope, budget, timescales, and quality standards.
  • Support governance activities and ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Evaluate requests for new software and technology solutions to ensure alignment with business needs, IT strategy, and architectural standards.
  • Analyse and improve internal IT processes to strengthen governance and operational effectiveness.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, recommendations, and status updates to stakeholders and steering committees.
  • Extensive experience in a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Application Analyst, or similar business systems role.
  • Experience supporting and enhancing one or more business-critical enterprise applications.
  • Strong business and technical analysis skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.
  • Proven experience engaging with stakeholders at all levels and building strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong documentation and process mapping capabilities.
  • Experience managing third-party suppliers and software vendors.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering projects, system implementations, upgrades, and business change initiatives.
  • Project Management qualification or equivalent practical project delivery experience.
  • Degree-qualified or professionally accredited through recognised industry bodies.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within the oil and gas, energy, or related industrial sectors.
  • Knowledge of business processes across functions such as Finance, HR, Procurement, or Operations.
  • Experience working within complex, multi-site, or global organisations.
  • Familiarity with enterprise applications such as ERP, HR, Finance, or operational business systems.
