You’ll join us at an important stage in the evolution of our resilience and continuity programme, gaining hands-on experience across Operational Resilience and Business Continuity. Working with colleagues across the Bank, you’ll be trusted to take ownership, supported to build your expertise and encouraged to grow as the programme evolves.

What you’ll be doing

• Coordinating Operational Resilience and Business Continuity activity across the Bank
• Supporting important business service mapping, dependency mapping, impact tolerance reviews and business impact analysis
• Maintaining plans, records and evidence, while tracking actions through to completion
• Preparing for the Operational Resilience Working Group and coordinating stakeholders across the business
• Helping to plan continuity exercises and develop our Business Continuity Champions network 

What we’re looking for

You’ll have practical experience of Operational Resilience, Business Continuity or a related discipline within banking, financial services or another regulated environment. You’ll understand how Operational Resilience applies in banking, including important business services, dependency mapping, impact tolerances and the need to maintain clear evidence of compliance.

Operational Resilience experience is preferred, although we’ll also consider strong Business Continuity experience alongside a good understanding of banking resilience requirements.

You’ll also bring:

• Excellent attention to detail and a thorough approach to records and evidence
• Strong organisation, forward planning and stakeholder coordination
• Initiative, ownership and the ability to drive actions through to completion
• Experience of business impact analysis, continuity planning or scenario exercises would be an advantage.
