EKG Technician

• Attach, connect, and operate electrodes from specified body areas to lead from electrocardiograph machine.
• Review patient's record and instruct patients prior to procedures.
• Monitor patient during procedures and report any abnormal findings.
• Identify and correct for artifacts.
• Edit and forward results to attending physician for analysis
  and interpretation.
• Maintain EKG equipment and supplies.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
