Land Surveyor

Description Bring your surveying expertise to a mission-driven engineering team working on transportation and water infrastructure projects across Illinois. This Land Surveyor opportunity is based in Breese, IL and supports both design and legal/boundary work that keeps critical projects moving forward. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Land Surveyor position include: Experience designing surveys for infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, drainage, water, wastewater, and sitework/grading), plus legal/boundary surveys and preparation of plats, R.O.W. documents, and easements.

Bachelor of Science in Land Surveying or a related science with at least 24 hours of land surveying courses from an accredited program. Illinois Professional Land Surveyor license, or the ability to obtain within 1 year (PLS preferred). Experience with OpenRoads Designer and/or Civil 3D. Experience with ESRI ArcGIS. Drone experience or a pilot’s license is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams). Excellent written and verbal communication skills; self-motivated with attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.

Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
