Your new role
As FinanceBusiness Partner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financialinsight and analysis to support operational and commercial performance acrossyour designated business area. Acting as a trusted adviser, you will providechallenge, support and guidance to stakeholders, ensuring they have a clearunderstanding of financial performance against targets and the actions requiredto drive improvement.
You will producemonthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts, while analysing keyperformance indicators and business trends to identify risks, opportunities andareas for enhanced performance. The role will involve working closely with siteand commercial teams to improve decision-making, support investmentopportunities and strengthen financial accountability across the business. Youwill also play a key role in maintaining robust financial controls, ensuringcompliance with accounting standards and supporting ongoing businessimprovement initiatives.
This is a highlyvisible position that offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders andthe opportunity to make a tangible impact on commercial and operationaloutcomes.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successfulin this role, you will be a qualified finance professional with strongmanagement accounting and commercial analysis capabilities. You will possessthe confidence and credibility to build effective relationships across bothfinance and non-finance teams, enabling you to influence decision-making anddrive business performance.
You will haveexperience producing management accounts, budgets and forecasts, alongside astrong understanding of financial reporting and performance analysis. Excellentcommunication skills are essential, as is the ability to translate complexfinancial information into meaningful business insight for a range ofstakeholders. You will be proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable workingwithin a fast-moving operational environment.
Applicants shouldbe ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or hold an equivalent professionalqualification, and possess strong systems and Microsoft reporting knowledge.Experience of business partnering, investment appraisal, large complexorganisations or advanced reporting tools such as Power BI, Power Query, SQL orMicrosoft Dynamics would be advantageous. A full UK driving licence isrequired.
