IT / Lab Systems Support Specialist
  • Location & Schedule: 
    • Hybrid in Waukegan IL 3 days per wk
    • Long Term Contract
    • Need Independent Candidates Only
  • Role: 
    • Instrument integration within their laboratories. 
    • Lacking a person of sufficient technical expertise ("computer know-how") that understands the capabilities underneath the wide swath of laboratory capabilities. 
    • Ability to understand the software & its capabilities, establish requirements for instruments, suggesting pathways for integration, etc.
    • LIMS system = SampleManager. 
  • Required: 
    • Minimum 3+ years of experience required.
    • Should be able to dive in with new software and be able to quickly understand what its capabilities are. 
    • Must be technically adept (wants someone who can write PowerShell scripts and have at least that basic level of know-how). 
    • Instrument/application integration experience is required. 
    • Lab experience required.
    • Bachelor's degree required. 
  • Preferred:
    • GXP experience is nice to have. 
  • Duration:
    • 6-month contract to start. Possibility to extend. 
  • Interview Process: 
    • 1-round panel interview.
