Our specialist team works closely with schools, colleges, and universities to enhance educational environments through carefully managed refurbishment, extension, and new-build projects. The Role<br />We are seeking a Senior Building Surveyor / Project Manager to join our growing team.

In this dual-role, you will manage a portfolio of education sector projects from initial feasibility through to completion, providing both strategic advice and hands-on delivery.

Key Responsibilities Lead refurbishment and construction projects across primary, secondary, and higher education institutions.<br />Carry out condition surveys, feasibility studies, and defect analysis.<br />Manage projects through RIBA stages, ensuring compliance with DfE and local authority regulations.<br />Liaise with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.<br />Provide contract administration and project management support across multiple schemes.<br />Mentor junior team members and contribute to business development initiatives.Requirements BSc in Building Surveying, Project Management or Architecture<br />MRICS or MCIOB qualified (preferred).<br />5+ years’ experience in building surveying and/or project management, ideally within the education sector.<br />Proven track record in managing capital works projects and stakeholder engagement.<br />Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and funding streams (e.g., CIF, DfE guidance).<br />Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.<br />Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.<br />|building surveyor| project manager| contract administration| schedules of condition| MRICS| MCIOB| ARB| MAPM| maintenance programmes
