Medicaid Enterprise Solution Architect

KeyResponsibilities:

Oversee and guide technical implementation of anew Fiscal Agent Services module, as part of the Medicaid Enterprise System(MES) system

Ensure solutions align with CMS (Centers forMedicare & Medicaid Services) guidelines, MITA maturity goals,interoperability standards, and federal modularity requirements.

Lead architectural reviews, assess solution implementation,and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and technical policies.

Evaluate system integration needs across modulessuch as Eligibility and Enrollment, Provider Services, ThirdParty Liability,Pharmacy, and Data Warehousing.

Provide architectural guidance for systeminterfaces, data exchange standards, APIs, security models, and cloud adoption strategies.

Develop architectural artifacts such as logicaland physical diagrams, data flow documentation, integration patterns, andtechnical roadmaps.

Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensurecompliance with NIST, HIPAA, state security policies, and other applicablecontrols.

Participate in governance processes, reviewchange requests, and ensure solutions are sustainable and maintainable.

Provide leadership and guidance to projectteams, business analysts, developers, and external partners throughout thesolution lifecycle.
