Job Title: HVAC Engineer

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: Up to £37,000 - £40,000 p.a.

Working hours: Monday – Friday 8.00am – 17.00pm

Next Generation have been appointed to recruit for a HVAC Engineers to work for a well-established HVAC business based in the Midlands. The HVAC Engineer will be responsible for providing refurbishments, repairs and upgrades to AHU's across customer sites

Duties of the HVAC Engineer:

·Carry out AHU refurbishment, repairs and upgrades across customer sites.

·Carry out assessment of the current condition of equipment, identify faults and highlight and additional work that may be required.

·Working to relevant drawings, specifications and installation instructions.

·Coordinate with colleagues, customers, and other contractors to complete scheduled works.

·Follow site procedures, risk assessments, method statements and safe isolation requirements.

·Record completed work, test results and any other outstanding issues.

·Support testing, commissioning and handovers within area of competence.

The successful candidate for the HVAC Engineers position will have the following experience:

·3 – 5 years' experience working as a HVAC Service Engineer (Essential)

·Mechanical or Electrical bias (Essential)

·Removing, replacing and installing fans, coils, heat exchangers, frameworks, panels and other associated AHU components

·Conducting installations, refurbishments and other required modifications (Essential)

·Carrying out electrical installations and modifications.

·Connecting and testing motors, EC fans, variable speed drives, etc.

·Working with control wiring and equipment interfaces.
