The role

The company is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join its Technology and Data team, leading the delivery of complex technology projects from initial business case through to implementation and operational handover.

You’ll take ownership of a varied portfolio of initiatives spanning enterprise platforms such as SAP and Workday, software development, legal technology and infrastructure. Applying agile methodologies to drive iterative delivery and continuous improvement, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, technical specialists and business teams to manage competing priorities and ensure technology investments deliver meaningful business outcomes.

Responsibilities

1. Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects, from initial planning and business cases through to launch, adoption and operational handover.
2. Manage project scope, budgets, financial forecasts, resources, timelines and delivery quality.
3. Lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinating internal stakeholders and external suppliers to achieve project objectives.
4. Drive agile delivery through sprint planning, backlog management, stand-ups and retrospectives.
5. Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies and scope changes to maintain delivery momentum.
6. Engage and influence senior technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing clear project updates and recommendations.
7. Maintain strong project governance, producing business cases, financial reports and delivery documentation.
8. Support change management and technology adoption to ensure successful integration into day-to-day operations.

Requirements

1. Proven experience delivering complex technology projects from business case through to implementation and operational handover.
2. Experience applying agile project management methodologies within technology delivery environments.
3. Strong project financial management skills, including budget ownership, forecasting and reporting.
4. Demonstrable experience leading cross-functional teams and managing third-party suppliers.
5. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
6. Experience within professional services, financial services or another complex, regulated environment is advantageous.
7. Experience delivering enterprise platforms such as SAP, Workday or Oracle is desirable.
8. PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM, AgilePM, CSM, SAFe or an equivalent project management qualification is desirable.
