Site Reliability Engineer

£60,000 - £65,000 GBP

We're growing our engineering team and are looking for Site Reliability Engineers who enjoy solving complex operational challenges through automation.
You'll play a key role in improving reliability, resilience and performance across critical systems, reducing manual support through engineering and automation while working alongside software development teams.
What you'll be doing

• Improving system reliability, availability and performance
• Automating operational processes and reducing manual intervention
• Building monitoring and observability solutions
• Supporting cloud-hosted applications and infrastructure
• Troubleshooting production issues across the technology stack
• Working closely with development teams to improve system design
• Driving DevOps and SRE best practices

Experience we're looking for

• Linux and Windows administration
• AWS, Azure or OpenStack
• Java and scripting (Bash or PowerShell)
• Docker and container technologies
• Monitoring tools such as ELK
• CI/CD and Agile delivery
• Strong troubleshooting and automation skills

Nice to have

• MongoDB or Elasticsearch
• Puppet, Chef or similar configuration management tools
• Selenium or automated testing frameworks
• Knowledge of ITIL practices

Requirements

• You must be a Sole British National.
• Eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance.
• Able to work from the Leeds office on a hybrid basis.
