Job Description

Job Description ECS is searching for a GEOINT Analyst - Exploitation Specialist in support of the US Government in St. Louis, MO . We are seeking an experienced analyst to provide critical Geospatial Intelligence Analysis supporting national security and defense mission requirements. This position requires demonstrated expertise in analyzing complex geospatial data, producing intelligence products, and supporting time-sensitive operational requirements. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of regional geographic features, cultural dynamics, and geopolitical contexts, combined with proficiency in advanced geospatial analysis tools and methodologies.

  • Conduct comprehensive all-source geospatial intelligence analysis utilizing NGA standard products including Area of Responsibility (AOR) assessments, Chart Series, and marginalia data to support strategic and tactical intelligence requirements
  • Acquire, analyze, evaluate, extract, and compile geospatial intelligence products in accordance with established standards and customer specifications, ensuring accuracy and relevance to mission objectives
  • Leverage advanced knowledge of topographic features, hydraulic systems, and aeronautical characteristics to assess regional terrain, infrastructure, and operational environments for military and intelligence planning
  • Produce authoritative intelligence products including written assessments, geospatial visualizations, briefings, and actionable intelligence reports for diverse stakeholder audiences ranging from tactical operators to senior leadership
  • Maintain currency on regional developments, geopolitical dynamics, and emerging threats through continuous monitoring of intelligence reporting and open-source information
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary intelligence teams, including imagery analysts, signals intelligence specialists, and human intelligence collectors to develop comprehensive situational awareness products
  • Support rapid response to emergent intelligence requirements by conducting focused research, analysis, and product generation under tight timelines while maintaining analytic rigor and quality standards
  • Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing tools, and specialized NGA applications to manipulate, analyze, and visualize complex geospatial datasets
  • Provide mentorship and analytical guidance to junior analysts, fostering professional development and maintaining team analytical standards
  • Brief intelligence findings to internal and external customers, including government officials and military commanders, articulating complex analysis in clear, actionable terms
  • Requires final acceptance by the Prime contractor and government customer. ** Validation of required clearances upon acceptance and approval from a cognizant government contracting officer. After customer indoctrination, the candidate will be submitted for a Counterintelligence Polygraph.

Required Skills

  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance required to apply; must be able to pass a CounterIntelligence (CI) polygraph following customer indoctrination.
  • High School Diploma and 7+ years of relevant experience; alternatively, a Bachelors / Masters degree in a related field of study or a combination of military (7+ years), experience, training or certifications.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate solution.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and oral/written communication skills, with the ability to effectively and professionally articulate complex analysis to diverse audiences.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of NGA standard products, including Chart Series, Area of Responsibility data structures, and marginalia conventions.
  • Experience with GIS software platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS) and remote sensing applications.
  • Background in military operations, terrain analysis, or mission planning.
  • Advanced understanding of geographic features including topography, hydrography, transportation networks, and urban infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in analyzing aeronautical characteristics and their operational implications.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize multi-source intelligence into coherent analytical products.
  • Experience with intelligence production workflows, quality control standards, and dissemination protocols.
  • Strong research capabilities utilizing classified and unclassified information sources.
  • Prior experience supporting Department of Defense or Intelligence Community customers.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Desired Skills

  • Proficiency in Oracle database queries and data extraction techniques.
  • Programming or scripting experience in .NET, Python, C++, or Java for geospatial data processing and automation.
  • Knowledge of DLA operations, to include NSNs, logistical structures, etc.
  • Background in geography, geospatial sciences, international relations, or related discipline.
  • Familiarity with specific regions of strategic importance (specify as mission-dependent).
  • Training in structured analytic techniques and critical thinking methodologies.
