We are supporting a fast growing Data & AI Consultancy who have created a culture built on Impact and Collaboration. They are working with a huge financial institution to deliver high-impact projects.

Contract opportunity for an experienced Network Security Engineer with strong AlgoSec and enterprise Firewall experience.

You'll take ownership of Firewall policy management and network security operations across large, regulated enterprise environments, with AlgoSec at the centre of the role.

Key Skills:

• Strong hands-on AlgoSec Security Management Suite experience - Firewall Analyser, FireFlow, ObjectFlow and AppViz
• Extensive experience managing enterprise, multi-vendor Firewall environments
• Strong knowledge of Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower and/or Check Point
• Firewall rule review, recertification, policy optimisation and risk reduction
• Strong understanding of NAT, VPN, segmentation and micro-segmentation
• Experience with security governance, compliance and audit requirements
• Network security operations within regulated/enterprise environments
• Experience automating security processes using Python, PowerShell and/or Bash
• Experience with APIs and automation/configuration tools such as Ansible or Terraform
• Strong stakeholder management across technical and senior audiences

Desirable: Financial Services/Banking experience, Zero Trust, SASE/SSE, PCI-DSS, ISO27001, NIST, cloud migration or hybrid networking.
