Security Specialist/IASM/Security Assuror/Information Assurance

We are currently recruiting for a qualified Security Assuror to work a contract role fully on-site in either London or Gloucester for our client. This role requires Enhanced Developed Vetting clearance.

Candidates should be appropriately qualified as Security Specialists/IASM/Information Assurance (IA). The successful candidate will need to be flexible where required to mobilise across areas and embed into relevant Product Frameworks as required, and as resourcing levels allow.

Following contextual training within the department, the role will be responsible for supporting:

• Carrying out security assessments and documenting areas of non-compliance.

• Reviewing existing security assessments/documentation and confirming current levels of compliance.

• Creation of plan of action' POAMs with stakeholders to address security debt and work with the CCs to create a plan of action

• Threat modelling assessments.

• SCO assessments.

• Carrying out PU Management maturity assessments.

• Carrying out Protective monitoring maturity assessments.

• Creation of misuse cases.

• Other security assessments as security maturity models evolve
