Director Finance AI & Data Governance

Director-level role leading Finance AI transformation at a medical device company. Responsible for building data governance frameworks, semantic layers, and AI capabilities that enhance financial decision-making, reporting, and operational efficiency across the finance organization.

Responsibilities
Own Finance AI and data transformation roadmap aligned with Finance team vision
Establish Finance data governance policies, standards, and certified metric frameworks across reporting and analytics
Lead intake and prioritization of Finance AI initiatives with capacity allocation and portfolio reviews
Build and lead central Finance AI and Data Governance team with talent strategy and delivery standards
Measure adoption, productivity, and value realization across AI and data portfolio; serve as trusted advisor to Finance leadership
Requirements
Minimum 12 years progressive leadership in Finance, FP&A, data analytics, or digital transformation
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional enterprise programs and influencing senior stakeholders
Strong understanding of Finance processes, controls, performance management, and financial metrics
Experience establishing data governance, semantic models, analytics products, or AI solutions
Experience with modern platforms: Snowflake, Databricks, Anaplan, SAP
Knowledge of enterprise generative AI, agentic solutions, and responsible AI practices
Bachelor's degree in finance, computer science, mathematics, information systems, or business
