Systems Integration Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge systems that enhance airspace management and safety. As a key member of a team of aviation and technology experts, you will play a vital role in deploying and integrating advanced systems. 
Your efforts will directly support the mission to improve air traffic operations, ensuring timely and successful system upgrades. Responsibilities include coordinating installation activities at facilities, compiling supporting documentation such as site design and completion reports, and ensuring compliance with facility requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the installation of situational displays and other critical systems.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including site design and installation completion reports.
• Collaborate with site staff and stakeholders to ensure seamless deployments.
• Ensure all site activities comply with security and operational standards.
• Support deployment efforts both within the continental U.S. and potentially overseas, traveling up to 50% as required.

Qualifications

• This position requires eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance. In accordance with federal law, U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years experience; OR associate’s degree with 14+ years experience; OR a high school diploma/equivalent with 16+ years experience.
• Proven experience in deployment coordination, project management, or systems integration within government or aviation sectors.
• Hands-on hardware and software deployment/installation expertise.
• Proficiency in creating network diagrams, rack elevations, and site documentation using tools such as Visio and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with NAS architecture and modernization initiatives.
• Experience supporting transportation programs.
• Red Hat Linux experience.
• Desktop support experience with Windows laptops.
