Job Description

Attentive Care is a licensed, family- and veteran-owned home health care agency providing in-home nursing, personal care, companion, and clinical support services. Our work is centered on helping clients remain safe, supported, and independent at home, and we rely on strong operational and financial stewardship to support that mission.

In this role, you will help keep the organization’s accounting operations accurate, organized, and running smoothly. You’ll contribute to the financial processes that support day-to-day agency operations while partnering across core accounting functions to maintain reliable records, support reporting, and strengthen overall financial visibility.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain general ledger records and ensure accurate day-to-day bookkeeping entries.
  • Process accounts payable, invoices, and check runs in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and merchant account transactions regularly.
  • Support payroll processing, financial reporting, and month-end close activities.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and preparation of annual financial statements.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with consolidated reporting and preparing trial balances.
  • Hands-on experience supporting month-end close activities, budgeting, forecasting, and preparation of annual financial statements.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with healthcare accounting.
  • Familiarity with Medicaid billing.
  • Experience working with auditors and outside accountants.
