Performance Tester

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing and executing formal Performance test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.
• Expert in LoadRunner custom coding at least 2-3 protocols
• Mainframe performance testing and scripting
• Batch performance scripting and testing
• Workload modeling and data preparation
• Should be able to identity performance issues and articulate correctly to the project team
• Knowledge of creating simulation tool for performance testing
• Good understanding of performance engineering concepts
• Good knowledge of Performance Test Procedures and documentation on Test Evidences, Test Results etc.
• Involve in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation,
• Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation, improvements, and integrates them into business processes to address the needs of the business.
• Documents all problems and assists in their resolution.
• Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant work experience conducting Performance testing of mission-critical applications.
• Performance testing experience with relevant automation and monitoring tools.
• Working knowledge of Automated Test and Test Management Tools (e.g. HP ALM).
• 5+ years of experience with HP Load Runner/ Performance Center.
• Experience with scripting and testing using Silk Performer and JMeter.
• Good Experience with Apache JMeter, LoadView, LoadNinja
