AI Engineer

Location: Chicago, IL | Hybrid: 3 days onsite | Full-Time, Direct Hire

Role

We’re seeking an AI Engineer to build and deploy production-grade LLM and agentic AI solutions using Python, AWS, and modern AI technologies. This is a hands-on role focused on architecture, development, AI reliability, and production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and deploy LLM/agentic AI applications.
• Design agent orchestration, tool/context integrations, and evaluation workflows.
• Develop AI infrastructure on AWS.
• Implement safeguards for hallucinations, prompt injection, data privacy, and output validation.
• Support architecture/code reviews and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Python, SQL, AWS, APIs, and distributed systems skills.
• Hands-on LLM/GenAI or agentic AI development experience.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD.
• Production system ownership from design through deployment.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred: Claude/Anthropic, MCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, AI security, data engineering, or financial services experience.
