Job Title: Business Analyst Telecom / Network Operations Center (NOC)

Location: Infinite Office

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Telecom OSS/BSS and Network Operations Center (NOC) processes. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, network operations teams, product owners, and development teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and deliver solutions that improve network monitoring, service assurance, incident management, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from Telecom and NOC stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Analyze existing NOC processes and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
• Work with Network Operations, Service Assurance, Engineering, and IT teams to define business solutions.
• Support Incident, Problem, Change, and Event Management processes.
• Participate in requirement workshops, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and UAT activities.
• Coordinate with development, QA, and operations teams throughout the SDLC.
• Prepare business process models, workflow diagrams, and system documentation.
• Perform impact analysis for new features, enhancements, and production changes.
• Support production issue triage and prioritize defects based on business impact.
• Ensure solutions align with business objectives and operational KPIs.
• Provide regular status updates and communicate risks, issues, and dependencies to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst in Telecom or NOC environments.
• Excellent requirement gathering and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience writing user stories, BRDs, FRDs, and acceptance criteria.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to facilitate workshops and bridge business and technical teams.
• Telecom / NOC Domain Knowledge
• Telecom OSS/BSS architecture.
• Network Operations Center (NOC) processes.
• Network monitoring and event management.
• Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
• Service Assurance and Fault Management.
• Alarm monitoring, alarm correlation, and event processing.
• Fiber and Copper network operations.
• Network inventory and provisioning concepts.
• OSS integrations and REST APIs.
• Understanding of network technologies such as MPLS, IP, Ethernet, Broadband, GPON, DWDM, and SD-WAN.
• Knowledge of TM Forum standards (TMF APIs) is an advantage.
