Job Description
A well-established middle-market investment bank is seeking an experienced Equity Capital Markets Vice President to join its growing ECM team in New York. This is an opportunity to work directly alongside senior leadership in a lean, highly collaborative environment, playing a key role in the execution of equity capital markets transactions.
The team consists of two Managing Directors, one Syndicate-focused Vice President, one Associate, and one Analyst, providing strong exposure to senior decision-makers and meaningful responsibility across transactions from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the execution of a broad range of ECM transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, secondary offerings, and other equity financings.
- Manage transaction timelines and coordinate cross-functional workstreams with banking, syndicate, legal counsel, issuers, and investors.
- Prepare and review offering materials, marketing documents, investor presentations, and transaction analyses.
- Oversee due diligence processes and regulatory filings associated with equity offerings.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, including Associates and Analysts.
- Work closely with senior bankers on client coverage, strategic discussions, and transaction execution.
Qualifications
- 5-8+ years of investment banking experience with a strong focus on Equity Capital Markets.
- Demonstrated experience executing IPO transactions and other public equity offerings.
- Strong understanding of capital markets dynamics, transaction structuring, and execution processes.
- Excellent financial analysis, valuation, and project management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple live transactions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and client-facing abilities.
