Automotive F&I Sales Manager

As a Retail Car Sales Manager, you lead used vehicle sales performance while overseeing deal structure, funding, and compliance. You guide and train the sales team on sales and F&I processes, ensure accurate contracts, titles, and registrations, and coordinate with lenders, internal teams, and tag agencies. You handle funding and reconciliation of all car deals, resolve customer paperwork and title issues, and support the General Manager in daily store operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage used vehicle sales operations to achieve volume and profitability targets through effective deal structuring and team leadership.
• Train and coach sales staff on sales processes, F&I procedures, and product knowledge for all vehicles in inventory.
• Review and structure deals to meet lender guidelines, including LTV, rates, fees, and required documentation before contracting.
• Oversee completion, auditing, and submission of all retail sales, F&I, title, and registration paperwork to ensure accuracy and timely funding.
• Coordinate with corporate, shared services, lenders, and tag/title agencies to resolve funding, title, and registration issues.
• Monitor and reconcile all deal-related funds, deposits, and payoffs, ensuring proper accounting and compliance with tax and reporting rules.
• Ensure adherence to state and federal compliance requirements, including OFAC, Red Flags, FTC Safeguards, and related regulations.
• Support and back up the store General Manager in daily operations and cross-functional collaboration to drive sales performance.
