Job Description

We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading global provider of technical production services, specialising in corporate events, exhibitions and live event solutions.<br /><br />This is an exciting opportunity to manage a variety of high-profile projects across the UK and internationally, taking full responsibility for the planning, coordination and successful delivery of technical event productions.<br /><br />The ideal candidate will have a strong background in live events and exhibitions, excellent technical knowledge and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional client service and commercial performance.<br />Key Responsibilities:- Manage corporate events, exhibitions and live productions from initial brief through to successful delivery.<br />- Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, technical requirements and post-event reviews.<br />- Act as the main point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong working relationships.<br />- Prepare accurate quotations, proposals and project budgets, ensuring commercial viability and profitability.<br />- Coordinate technical teams, suppliers, freelancers and external contractors.<br />- Conduct site visits, venue assessments and technical planning meetings.<br />- Work with technical drawings, stand plans, CAD designs and 3D visualisations.<br />- Oversee onsite installation, event delivery and de-rig operations.<br />- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, budgets and quality standards are achieved.<br />- Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and company procedures.<br />- Travel throughout the UK and internationally to oversee project delivery.<br /><br />Skills &amp; Experience:<br />- Proven project management experience within corporate events, exhibitions or live technical production.<br />- Strong understanding of AV technology, including video, audio, lighting and associated technical systems.<br />- Experience managing project budgets, quotations, suppliers and commercial performance.<br />- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.<br />- Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills.<br />- Confident leadership skills with experience coordinating technical crews and contractors.<br />- Ability to interpret technical drawings, event layouts and production requirements.<br />- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.<br />- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings and occasional weekends as required.<br />- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.<br />- Full, clean UK driving licence.<br />- Rigging experience would be advantageous but is not essential.<br /><br />Location &amp; Working Hours:<br />This is a full-time position, with projects predominantly based across London and the surrounding areas.<br />Regular travel to the company's Hertfordshire office will be required, alongside occasional UK and international travel depending on project requirements.<br />Flexibility is essential due to the nature of the live events industry.<br /><br />The Opportunity:<br />This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting corporate events and exhibitions for major clients, managing technically challenging projects within an established international organisation.
