Electrical Project Manager, Solar PV and Renewable Energy.

Salary 45,000 to 50,000 pounds, permanent, full-time, hybrid between Preston office and North West sites.

Role summary

we're looking for an experienced electrical professional to manage domestic solar PV and battery installations from planning through to handover. You'll coordinate schedules, materials, scaffolding, subcontractors, and communicate clearly with customers and site teams to ensure smooth, safe, high-quality delivery.

Key responsibilities include planning and scheduling multiple installations, ensuring materials and kits are on site. arranging scaffolding and contractors, supervising and supporting installation teams, acting as a customer point of contact, coordinating DNO applications, and ensuring compliance with BS 7671, Part P and MCS standards.

Requirements: Ideally, qualified electrician with hands-on solar PV experience, good knowledge of battery storage, team supervision experience, and confident scheduling skills. Level 3 electrical qualification, 18th edition, and a full UK driving license are expected. Inspection and testing, ECS, or SMSTS are desirable.
