The Role

• Assembling steel structures for medium, high, and ultra-high voltage transformer substations (up to 380kV).
• Installing high-voltage and medium-voltage equipment and electrical systems, including mounting essential components like HV clamps, suspension, and support insulators.
• Performing the assembly and disassembly of bolted and crimped connections, as well as pipe and cable assembly, including tensioning.
• Revising and marking up plan documents with red annotations.

What You'll Need

• Completed vocational training as a locksmith (Schlosser), metalworker (Metallbauer), industrial mechanic (Industriemechaniker), construction mechanic (Konstruktionsmechaniker), plant mechanic (Anlagenmechaniker), or a comparable qualification.
• Previous experience in locksmithing or metalworking within sectors such as construction, mechanical and plant engineering, energy technology, or the metal processing industry.
• Ideally, experience working safely with electrical installations.
• A valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel to project sites using a personal vehicle.
• Readiness for regular on-site assignments (Monday-Thursday) in the northeastern German region, including overnight stays.
• Good German language skills and an independent, motivated work approach.
