The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks.
• Position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard.
• Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections for safety.
• Coordinate tasks and container movements with yard personnel and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays; open availability is essential.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Must pass background verification, physical, and drug screening (cannabis prohibited).
