About the Company

We are a well-established manufacturer supplying high-quality products to the agricultural industry. Due to continued growth and investment in our production facilities, we are looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team on a permanent day shift.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern manufacturing environment, supporting production through proactive and reactive maintenance activities while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a range of manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency across the site.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production machinery and site equipment.
  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Responding quickly to breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
  • Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects.
  • Assisting with machinery installations, upgrades, and modifications.
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Working closely with production teams to ensure equipment performance and safety standards are maintained.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • A Level 3 Electrical Qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, BTEC, or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with PLC fault finding would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of conveyors, motors, drives, sensors, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems.
  • A proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
