About the CompanyWe are a well-established manufacturer supplying high-quality products to the agricultural industry. Due to continued growth and investment in our production facilities, we are looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team on a permanent day shift.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern manufacturing environment, supporting production through proactive and reactive maintenance activities while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
The RoleAs a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a range of manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency across the site.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production machinery and site equipment.
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults.
- Responding quickly to breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
- Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects.
- Assisting with machinery installations, upgrades, and modifications.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Working closely with production teams to ensure equipment performance and safety standards are maintained.
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- A Level 3 Electrical Qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, BTEC, or equivalent).
- Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience with PLC fault finding would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of conveyors, motors, drives, sensors, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems.
- A proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
