Role: Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: San Francisco HQ / Houston, TX (Onsite)
Duration: 3-6 Months (Contract to Hire)
Experience: 10+ Years
Job Description:
- Design HV/MV/LV power distribution systems for first-of-its-kind chemical refining processes, from concept through energization
- Produce & review SLDs, panel schedules, wiring diagrams, grounding plans, conduit/cable schedules and equipment specifications
- System modeling & analysis (load flow, short-circuit, arc flash, protective coordination) for robust, code-compliant power systems
- Support construction, commissioning and energization across the project lifecycle
Must-have requirements
- Electrical system modeling tools — ETAP, SKM PowerTools, or EasyPower
- Codes & standards — NEC, IEEE, NFPA 70E, ANSI/IEC
- Proven delivery of detailed electrical packages (calcs, drawings, equipment specs)
