Job Description

Growth is built, not inherited.

Zhongding USA — part of Zhongding Group, a global manufacturer of sealing systems, rubber and industrial components, and precision parts serving the automotive and industrial markets — is expanding its North American footprint, and sales is at the center of that growth. We're seeking a driven sales leader to help drive it. If you want to lead a talented team and leave a lasting mark on a growing company, we want to hear from you.

The Role

You'll directly manage a group of sales account managers — owning the revenue target and the plan to exceed it. You'll coach and develop the team, set an ambitious yet achievable growth agenda, and spend real time in front of customers on the largest and most strategic pursuits.

Our sales team brings deep, profitable customer relationships built over years — the foundation of our business. We're looking for a collaborative leader who builds on that strength: someone who earns the team's trust, leads through partnership rather than pressure, and grows both the team's results and its capabilities while safeguarding the relationships our customers value. As the business expands, you'll also bring on new talent to add capacity and help the team reach the next level.

The right person is equal parts coach and closer — someone who reads people, tailors their approach to each individual, and brings a group of strong performers together into one cohesive, high-performing team. As you and the team establish a track record, this role is built to grow into broader sales leadership. This position reports to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and grow the team

• Build strong relationships across the team and lead through collaboration and influence

• Safeguard and deepen the customer relationships that anchor our business

• Tailor your coaching and motivation to how each individual works and performs

• Recruit and onboard new sales talent to expand the team's capacity and capabilities

Own the number and drive results

• Carry and exceed the revenue target for your accounts; own the forecast and the plan to hit it

• Set clear individual targets and manage steadily to them through the pipeline

• Run a consistent cadence of funnel reviews, forecast calls, and deal inspection

• Drive pipeline health, conversion, and win rate; act early when any of them slips

Champion consistency and best practices

• Establish and share consistent sales processes and best practices across the team

• Support each account manager with clear goals and regular, constructive feedback

• Coach the team to win: deal strategy, negotiation, and senior-level selling

• Conduct mid-year and year-end reviews and support each person's development

Grow the business

• Spend significant time in the field with customers and partners on strategic, high-value pursuits

• Lead senior-level selling at key accounts, in support of the reps who own them

• Target new markets and accounts, and develop plans to grow share and win new logos through your team

• Drive consistent use of the CRM to manage pipeline and inform decisions with reliable data

Qualifications and Experience

•    A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, and leading a team to a number

•    Proven ability to build trust within an established team and lead through collaboration and influence — earning credibility with experienced reps and their customers

•    Success developing sales talent and bringing strong, independent personalities together into a cohesive team

•    Minimum of 6 years in sales, with 3+ years in a team-lead or sales management capacity, preferably within manufacturing / automotive components / industrial supply

•    An established network within the automotive / industrial manufacturing space

•    Strong communication, presentation, and listening skills, with the ability to coach through questions

•    Strong business acumen and the ability to articulate long-term value

•    Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience

Compensation & Benefits

•    Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance

•    401(k) with company match

•    Base + commission/bonus structure

•    A clear path to grow into broader sales leadership as the team and your track record grow
