Job Description
We are seeking a Scrum Master / Agile Release Train Engineer (RTE) to support our Agile teams and program-level delivery efforts. This role focuses on driving alignment, disciplined execution, and predictable outcomes while enabling cloud-based development within Azure environments. The Scrum Master/RTE facilitates Agile ceremonies, leads program-level events, resolves impediments, and reinforces a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability. The role requires proficiency with Azure DevOps and working knowledge of Azure cloud architecture, services, and delivery pipelines.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Provide disciplined servant leadership that reinforces team readiness, ownership, and commitment to mission success.
- Coordinate Agile Release Train events such as PI Planning, ART Syncs, System Demos, and Inspect and Adapt workshops.
- Identify and remove impediments to maintain operational flow and support timely delivery.
- Collaborate with Product Management, System Architecture, Engineering, and cross-functional partners to ensure alignment on objectives, priorities, and timelines.
- Manage program-level risks, dependencies, and issues, escalating appropriately to maintain execution stability.
- Monitor delivery performance metrics, assess team and ART health, and drive improvements in velocity, flow, and predictability.
- Ensure accurate backlog management, workflow optimization, and reporting using Azure DevOps Boards, Dashboards, and Pipelines.
- Support teams with cloud-related dependencies, technical discussions, and planning activities involving Azure cloud services.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in Scrum Master, RTE, or similar Agile delivery role.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
- Experience using Azure DevOps Boards, Pipelines, and Repos.
- Working knowledge of Azure cloud services.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe RTE, or other Agile certifications.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with Azure landing zones or cloud modernization programs.
- Experience supporting multi-team Agile environments in enterprise settings.
