Senior DevOps / Kubernetes Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps/Kubernetes Engineer to join our client's team in Dallas, TX (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience managing production Kubernetes infrastructure and cloud-native environments.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of overall IT/DevOps experience
• 2+ years working with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) or EKS (Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service) — administering and maintaining cluster lifecycle
• Experience keeping production environments running at peak performance on cloud and in containers
• Experience managing production Kubernetes infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code
• Deep understanding of DevOps best practices and CI/CD — GitHub Actions and ArgoCD preferred
• Experience with Service Mesh technologies (Istio)
• Experience using Rancher as a control plane
• Experience with Observability tools — Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus
• Deep knowledge of Linux OS, networking, and Azure PaaS solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure, AWS, or Kubernetes technical certifications
