Devops Engineer (AWS)

Overview:

• Seeking a hands-on AWS DevOps / Product Support Engineer with strong experience in AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes to support cloud infrastructure, DevOps operations, and enterprise production environments.
• The ideal candidate will combine cloud engineering and DevOps expertise with strong production/product support, troubleshooting, automation, and incident resolution experience.
• This is a hands-on engineering role and is not intended for high-level Cloud Architects or DevOps Managers who are no longer technically involved.

Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain AWS cloud environments and cloud infrastructure.

• Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Deploy, maintain, and support Kubernetes and containerized environments.

• Support production applications and cloud platforms in enterprise environments.

• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application-related issues.

• Investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement resolutions.

• Support deployment and release activities.

• Automate infrastructure and operational processes.

• Monitor cloud environments and application/platform health.

• Collaborate with application development, infrastructure, DevOps, and support teams.

• Resolve production issues within required SLAs.

• Support stable, reliable, and highly available production environments.

• Follow DevOps and cloud engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong, recent hands-on experience with AWS.

• Strong, recent hands-on experience with Terraform.

• Strong, recent hands-on experience with Kubernetes.

• Experience with DevOps Engineering and cloud infrastructure.

• Experience developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Experience supporting applications/products in production environments.

• Strong troubleshooting and issue-resolution skills.

• Experience supporting enterprise production environments.

• Hands-on experience writing and maintaining Terraform code/modules.

• Experience with Kubernetes/containerized environments.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

• Experience with Docker and containers.

• Experience with cloud automation.

• Production Support and Application/Product Support experience.

• Experience with Incident Management and Root Cause Analysis.
