Mobile Forklift Engineer - Hertfordshire

Job Title: Mobile forklift engineer We are looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair a range of materials handling equipment.

You’ll play an important role in keeping equipment safe, reliable and operational for customers.<br />The role will involve working on-site with customers, identifying faults, carrying out repairs and completing routine inspections and maintenance.<br />Key Responsibilities<br />Service, maintain and repair materials handling equipment, including forklifts, side loaders and reach trucks.<br />Diagnose faults and identify potential repairs to maximise equipment reliability and uptime.<br />Complete service records, job sheets, parts orders and warranty work accurately.<br />Provide a professional and high-quality service to customers.<br />Plan and book scheduled maintenance with customers.<br />Prioritise and manage your workload effectively.<br />Ensure chargeable work and scheduled servicing are completed within agreed timescales.<br />Maintain regular communication with the service team regarding completed work, estimates, damage reports and outstanding jobs.<br />Carry out lifting equipment inspections when required.<br />Carry out PAT testing when required.<br />Follow all site health and safety requirements and wear the appropriate PPE at all times.<br />Carry out any other reasonable duties required as part of the role.Experience you will have:
