About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Information Security Engineer to support initiatives that strengthen security controls, risk management practices, and enterprise security engineering capabilities. In this role, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and enhancement of security solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to address complex security challenges and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Participate in moderately complex information security engineering initiatives and projects.
• Analyze and evaluate security risks, vulnerabilities, and engineering challenges.
• Contribute to large-scale planning and execution of security engineering deliverables.
• Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of security controls and solutions.
• Identify and resolve security-related issues by applying established policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Provide consultation and technical guidance to stakeholders on security engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams and business partners to ensure secure and compliant technology solutions.
• Assist in maintaining and improving enterprise security standards, processes, and governance practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Information Security Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology Security, or a related field.
• Equivalent combination of work experience, consulting experience, military experience, education, and/or professional training may be considered.
• Strong understanding of information security principles, frameworks, and best practices.
• Experience analyzing and resolving technical security issues in a complex environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale security engineering programs.
• Familiarity with security policies, compliance requirements, and risk management methodologies.
• Experience implementing and maintaining security tools, controls, and technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud, network, application, or infrastructure security concepts.
